The Robins got themselves back on track this afternoon with a very nice 10-4 win over the Mounds View Rams. During the first period, the Robins struggled a bit with puck movement and communication on the floor, but still managed to score twice. The second period saw them come to life and start playing the type of hockey we know they can play. It was a period filled with good puck movement and exceptional teamwork, and four more goals on the scoreboard. Mounds View battled back in the third period, capitalizing on a few Robins’ errors, but never managed to get any closer than four goals. Hayley Engebretsen put up another great game, making 37 saves. Jordan O’Donnell blocked 11 shots on defense while Kajon Terrell blocked 5 more. Offensively, Andy Hanson finished the game with 4 goals and 2 assists, Vincent Luu had 2 goals and 3 assists, Cory Tesch had 2 goals and 1 assist. Izear Joiner and Same Roles also played very well, recording 1 goal and 1 assist each.
