The Robins got back on the winning track tonight, beating the Brainerd Warriors 6-4. After the Robins took an early 2-0 lead, the Warriors battled back to tie it at 2 and make the game quite intense and interesting for a while, but the home team was finally able to pull away for the big win. Ethan Brenna’s solid defense really helped to keep the Warrior’s offense under control, while adding 1 goal and 3 assists. Steven Halsey also played very well, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists. Also scoring for the Robins were Mike Madson (2 goals), and Harrison Lerner (1 goal). Charlie Wittmer continued to improve and play well at goalie, making 29 saves.
