Robins Adapted Athletics – P.I. Division Team

The Robins overcame some unusual and unexpected sloppy play tonight and slipped past the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers 9-5.    The Robins looked like they were in control of this game mid-way through the second period, with a 4-1 lead, but the Lakers battled back to make it interesting and trailed by just one goal with eight minutes left in the game.  The Robins offense finally came to life just enough  over the game’s final seven minutes to pull away and claim victory.  Ethan Brenna and Steven Halsey had identical games statistically, with each finishing with 3 goals and 4 assists.  Mike Madson chipped in with two third period goals, Harrison Lerner had one goal and Andy Madson had one assist.  Charlie Wittmer made 16 saves on 21 shots on goal.
