The Robins got their 2010 adapted softball season underway tonight with a 16-5 win over the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers. While the Robins’ fielding struggled a little bit from time to time, their bats were in mid-season form, as the Robins had 27 hits and put together three 5 run innings during this 5 inning game. The Robins were led by Keith Breding and Steven Halsey, with both players collecting 4 hits, and Halsey collecting 4 RBI. Harrison Lerner and Erin Nickell both collected 3 hits each, with Lerner getting 2 triples in his 3 at-bats. Nickell pitched all five innings to earn the win for the Robins.
