The Robins are now 2-0 after another great outing, defeating the Osseo Orioles 13-0. A 5 run first inning got the Robins’ offense going, and then followed with 3 runs in the second, 1 run in the third and 4 more runs in the fourth inning. Erin Nickell pitched 3 scoreless innings to earn the win, and went 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 RBI. Charlie Wittmer picked up the other 2 innings at pitcher, and allowed just 2 hits. Ethan Brenna and Steven Halsey had almost identical games, with Brenna going 3 for 3 (including a 3 run home run), 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. Halsey also was 3 for 3, with a 3 run home run and 2 runs scored. Keith Breding had 3 hits and scored 3 runs.
